I'm giving Sleeper B a 2nd chance. His father works for me and swears the boy learned his lesson. Out of courtesy and respect to his father as much as anything I'm bringing him back. I am even a little optimistic that he will work out this time.

How's #1 doing on the job?
He's doing great. I got a good report from both his supervisor and dept. mgr earlier today. He isn't, however, saving any mony yet to put towards a car. We had a heart to heart about that this morning.
Ha- Laurie gave him the what-for in his re-orientation this morning. Laurie gets aggravated at all the young black men with illigitimate babies, and after she read him the riot act about making the best of a second chance, she said "Now, it's time you grow up and become the man you think you were when you made that baby."
